Vision

To use the NEPAD policy framework to facilitate partnerships for sustainable economic growth and development in Nigeria

Mission

To forge viable partnership amongst private sector and civil society organisations towards ensuring good governance in order to stimulate sustainable economic growth and development

THE NATIONAL COORDINATOR/CEO’S 4R STRATEGY

RE-POSITIONING

NEPAD Nigeria is deeply concerned about Nigeria’s present and future prospects in global economic development given the crisis the nation has witnessed over the years. Thus, our economy has been in shambles as a result of pervasive corruption, erosion of our enviable value system, lack of good governance and poor project implementation from the past regime.
Consequently, NEPAD Nigeria among other things has re-positioned itself to tackle the poor state of the nation’s economy and designed programs and projects that would kick-start the nation’s aspiration for realistic economic diversification, reverse the present recession and put the nation on the path of global competitiveness.

RE-LAUNCHING

• To re-introduce NEPAD to the consciousness of Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike;
• To partner with the Federal MDAs, State and Local Governments, Private Sector, the International Community, NGOs and the Civil Society Organizations in implementing NEPAD programs and projects;
• To introduce a robust partnership for NEPAD Nigeria and constant engagement with the APRM Continental Secretariats and other countries to exchange ideas, share experiences and benefits from economics of scale; and
• To ensure the successful completion of the second country review in partnership with the National Steering Committee.

RE-BRANDING

We have changed to an excellent and tantalizing, brand status vis-a-vis our processes and standards of delivery to make NEPAD Nigeria more attractive to all investors, NGOs and International Donor Agencies in order to place Nigeria and other African countries, individually or collectively, on a path of sustainable economic growth and development. In this wise, we have rebranded our programs and projects mix in response to changes in the global environment so as to halt the marginalization of Africa in the globalization process.
We now have an innovative strategy that aims to make the NEPAD’s brand occupy a distinct position, relative to other MDAs in Nigeria.

RE-ALLIGNING

NEPAD Nigeria has repacked itself as a tool for building an egalitarian society, basic human rights, good governance and key infrastructures for national development.
Therefore the management is the process of working with relevant stakeholders to accomplish organizational mandates
Some of the Critical Deliverable Actions Plans include:
1. Alignment to the nation’s economic policy goals, strategies and priorities with a focus on the economic globalization competitive environment.
2. Setting standard for all aspects of our programs /projects
3. Ensuring effective and efficient operation of all our internal processes and systems.
4. Closing any gap between desired performance and actual performance.
