ASCSN NEPAD NIGERIA UNIT ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES

The Association of the Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, NEPAD Nigeria chapter today, held her election.
The election was conducted by the representatives of the National Body of the Association led by Comrade Elias Idoko.
Comrade Elias Idoko while announcing the election results said that Comrade Joel Umoru scored 44 votes; Kareem Rasheed got 24 votes, and Ibrahim B. Audu secured 6 votes.
Consequently, he declared Comrade Joel Umoru the winner of the Chairmanship election having scored 44 votes out of the 75 votes cast, pointing out that 74 votes were valid while one invalid vote was recorded.
According to Comrade Elias Idoko, four positions –Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Ex-Officio were un-opposed.
In view of the foregoing, Comrade Elias Idoko announced the new Executives of the Association as follow:
i. Chairman- Joel Umoru
ii. Vice Chairman – Ewor-Mariam Shehu Aliyu
iii. Secretary –Babayemi E. Dayo
iv. Treasurer – Dorcas V. David
v. Ex-Officio –Philemon Esther Yakubu
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Joel Umoru pledge un-behalf of the new leadership a committed, dedicated, transparent, inclusive and accountability administration and then appeal for support of the Staff for achievement of their goals.
